Hi, I’m Wayne Fox.
I’m a photographer based in Cumbria, UK, capturing the landscapes, wildlife, and night skies of the Lake District and beyond.
Photography started as a way to escape the noise of everyday life — over time, it became how I document the beauty and unpredictability of nature.
Photography started as a way to escape the noise of everyday life — over time, it became how I document the beauty and unpredictability of nature.
Whether I’m waiting in a hide for a sparrowhawk to strike, chasing the perfect Milky Way alignment, or exploring the coastline by drone, I aim to keep my work grounded, authentic, and true to what I see through the lens.
My Gear & Approach
I shoot with Nikon full-frame DSLRs (D780 & D750) paired with Sigma telephoto and Nikkor prime lenses.
All my images are composed full-frame in-camera — I never crop, preferring to work with precision in the field rather than rely on heavy editing later.

My editing workflow is built around Nikon NX Studio and Adobe Lightroom Classic, where I focus on balance, tone, and preserving natural colour rather than over-processing.
Where My Work Appears
My photography is shared across:
Adobe Stock – where selected images are available for licensing and fine art prints.
